Cost of Tattoos in Minnesota?

How much [estimate] would a tattoo of 4 chinese characters [2 on either hips] cost in MN?
I know about the $50 "finders fee" and about tip and such but what else?
The tattoo itself wouldnt be very large since im not that big of a person. [5'3" :: 121 pounds.]

The price varies by artist , shop, and work to be done. The location of the tattoo may also have an effect on the price. The best way to get a price is find the artist you want to do the work and ask him/her. Most shops usually do have a minimum, usually $50.00 to $100.00. Being a heavily tattooed woman my self I probably wouldn’t pay more than $150.00 for what it sounds like you want. Unless you are getting them done in a larger size. Price goes up with size. Go on Google.com go to Pictures and search Micheal Scofields, it will show you a bunch of pictures. it might help.
Edit: I just searched it and found the front piece of his tat on google pics, no back pieces though, sorry.

is it taboo to tattoo a zodiac sign upside down on body?

i really want to get another tattoo, and being an aries, i wanted to get the aries horns on my hip. i was wondering if getting them upside down (to look like an a (my initial) would be zoodoo or taboo.. i am a very true aries in personality, and would hate to counter that with a misunderstanding of the design.
I really don’t know if it is considered taboo… I’ve never heard of that.
However, my PERSONAL feelings on it are that you shouldn’t put it upside down. Special symbols put upside down feel like they give off a negative aura or something… like tarot cards, horse-shoes, pentagrams… so many upside down things have negative connotations that it’s probably not advisable.
Of course, that’s just my opinion. It really depends on how it feels to you - chances are, if you’re wondering about it and if the thought even OCCURRED to you that it might be bad to put it upside down, you probably shouldn’t.

Yes, I think its was Old English. I wondered if it was a gang reference. But it was in English.
