A question for the male gender. Do you think tattoos are unattractive on the opposite sex?

November 26th, 2009

Not tons of them either just 1 or 2 tattoos. Leave your zodiac sign as well, just for fun :)

Thanks!

Not at all. In moderation they can definitely be an attractive feature.

Gemini.

Where could I find More Designs like this?(Baroque, Gothic-Like Tattoo design)?

November 26th, 2009

Alright, so I am going to get a tattoo that I’ve designed myself with help from a design like the ones in the links. But I can’t find any more anywhere. Is there any words I could type in or places I could go to find more?

You could always google the word "filigree" and check that out. Seems to be along the same lines as what you are after.

I want to get a tattoo of my Zodiac sign (Scorpio) but I want something that goes along with it also ?

November 5th, 2009

I want to make it into a quarter-sleeve but I can’t think of anything that will go with my zodiac sign (Scorpio).Do you have any ideas?

Where do scorpions live? In the desert. So, why not add elements of where a scorpion lives to your tattoo? Joshua Trees, a cactus or a yucca plant, the red sands of a place like Zion National Park… I don’t know, it’s just what came to mind.

How do you feel about this tattoo?

November 5th, 2009

I think it’s beautiful.

I’m considering getting one similar to it; but obviously it will be a little more original.

This style of tattoo is becoming increasingly popular; I’ve seen it both with flowers and with sort of shooting star type designs. I think that if you can come up with your own design (different flowers, color, maybe birds or butterflies) that it will look great. Good luck with your tattoo.

I got a red and black nautical star tattoo about 6 days ago and the red doesnt seem strong on there…?

November 5th, 2009

I got a red and black nautical star tattoo on the back of my arm above my elbow and its starting to heal and i can see the finished product cuz the scabbing is gone and the red doesnt seem strong on there, it looks like a really light red, Do I need a touch up on this tattoo?

It’s healing, that is very normal. Wait about 4-6 weeks for it to heal completely. The ink is about 1/16 of an inch below your skin, and right now, the top layer is repairing itself from the damage caused during the tattoo process. It is old damaged skin, becoming new, weak skin. The skin usually sheds every 30 days, and when you get a tattoo, it disturbs the natural process. It’s very normal for a red tattoo to appear faded or even pink at times. Give it time to heal completely, and if it still looks lie that after about a month, go back and have the artist look at it for you. If it needs touched up, they should do it for free if they stand behind their work. Best wishes!!!
