Do goth people have or get colored tattoos? I always thought I’d only get black, but then loved the way color

If you love the look of the color, then go for color! Your tattoos should be about what you like, not what your friends or culture (in this case I am talking about other gothic folk) might define you as. Also, individuality is always a bonus (I was more punk than goth, but i think the same idea applies), and if someone accuses you of not being "goth enough" because you have a colored tattoo, tell him you didn’t get into it to conform to other peoples ideas of what you should or shouldn’t be :).

I really need to know where fette(bold) gothic originated from im getting the letter K as a tattoo on my wrist but i want to know if it was first developed in Germany or England or somewhere else, I dont want to get it if its German, no affence to Germany or its people but my family is Dutch and have bad memories of the natzis. Please if anyone has any idea or a website with info i would be very greatful.

I have found the perfect tattoo and I just would like an estimate as to how much it would be to get done at a quality tattoo parlor.

I’d change that tattoo up a bit just to make it look more customized for you. And anyone who said $50 for that tattoo has no idea what they are talking about. That tattoo is going to run you at least $350 to $450 especially if you are getting it in the same location. Tattoo artists charge anywhere between $50 to $150 an hour and there is no way that tattoo can be done in less than 2 hours.
How do I pull of a gothic kind of style, but in a conservative manner?

I’ve always liked the way that the gothic style of dress looks, victorian clothing, etc..but was never really into the scene kid thing, and I hate caking on makeup (aside from eyeliner) I have tattoos, but I’m not quick to label myself as anything.
Plus, I feel like I’m too old nowadays (I’m 24)
Are there any websites, or makeup tutorials I can look at? Anyone have any ideas?

I’m old LOL but I would think that wearing dark/black eye make up, pale lipstick and flat ironing your hair would look goth. I’d would look at someone who dressed like that as goth. Oh and of course, black clothing! 
Cool Gothic/Emo tattoos?

I recommend neither. How old are you?? Guaranteed if you get a tattoo fitting either of those categories you will really regret it if the actual symbol/picture doesn’t mean anything to you personally. You have to wonder if you’ll still want the bleeding heart-on-a-celtic cross tattoo when you’re 70… I think most people at 70 would rather not have one.
A tattoo changes your body forever. It’s important to at least come to terms with what you’re dealing with…

I am thinking of getting tattoos (yes, plural) and i am needing help thinking of different kinds of gothic/creepy/awesome types… i am not even close to being a girly girl, so dont say stupid stuff…
get the slipknot barcode label (people=sh*t) or crossbones but instead of bones, two guitars. get creative! decorate it with thorns and chains and burning pedals, etc. think about it…

I have seen my frinds and my own brother transform before my veey eyes over the past three years. I on the other hand am different than the majority. I did take up things such as listening to death metal or any kind of metal for that matter, I did not want to get any part of my body pierced or get any tattoos, I never started wearing black cloths all the time and start to paint my finger nails black either, I never want to smoke weed or drink beer, I never joined any activities at my high school, I never started hanging out with people who aren’t really my friends, I never talked about someone behind their back about their apperance, I never stole from my family to buy drugs. So basically having said that to sum that all up I never jumped on the band wagon like everyone else that I know. I refused to change my attitudes about people and things such as movies and going out to parties. Why can’t the kids of today be more mild mannered and respectful to people? Give me your input on this
By the way I’m 18 years old and am a senior in high school. I see people like these on a regular basis.
I feel like an old man in an 18 year old’s body! I think that I probably would have done better if I was born in the 1940s -1960s.
My brother also curses at me on a regular basis. He even runs around with guy who got him into trouble a while back. After even getting him into trouble he still hangs out with him! Ever time I tell my mom him and his friends try to bully me! Keep in mond that these punks are younger than I am! I’m just trying to look out for his best interests and I don’t want him to throw his life away like some people do!

I think the youth have a sense that the world is lying to them, but they don’t know about what… and since their parents don’t have a clue and are all brainwashed by the media and the government, and the churches, the kids arent’ getting any real answers, and they don’t even know what the question is! So there is a real turbulence in their insides because they aren’t getting any real answers. School is a joke and they know it. .. they are just rebelling but they don’t even know what against… Give the kids a break and maybe they will find what they are looking for and teach the rest of us the truth…
