does getting a tattoo damn me and forbid me from entering heaven?

August 26th, 2009

<< Do goth people have or get colored tattoos? I always thought I'd only get black, but then loved the way color

How do I get a job without abandoning my Gothic style?>>

its not a gothic tattoo just symbolic of things i want to remember bout my childhood things i never want to forget. im leaving for college full of new starts and i want to have these things close to me always.

NO! I do not believe so. If God were so particular then a majority of believers would be in trouble. We are not perfect, we are flawed. We have flaws and if God watches over us then he is there to forgive us for what we have done wrong.

YES because getting a tattoo is from the word, and not from GOD, he doesn’t like it when you do things that involve the world: drinking, using drugs, having sex before marriage, getting tattoos, going to party’s where there will be drugs or other bad things.

I struggled with this for a long time. I always wanted one, but was worried. I don’t know your faith–different things believe differently. But I am Baptist, and according to what I believe, there is nothing you can do either before or after your conversion that will prohibit you from entering heaven.

I mean, if you can do anything and obtain grace, and if you are able to ask forgiveness afterwards and be sanctified…then it’s like saying the blood of Christ can’t compensate for some ink under your skin.

I have one now. No regrets. No fears.

You should also consider a less permanent tattoo which uses laser erasable dyes from infinitink in case you later change your mind and want the tattoo removed:

The laser removal procedure does not leave behind any scared skin tissue.

P.S. I am not an employee of infinitink.

    Good luck!
