i’m trying to think of some ideas for a gothic tattoo which is going at the top of my back. would be great if y’all could post some ideas…..

Maybe a gothic fairy?
Or something else mythical that you could put a goth spin on.

try google image. I get my ideas from there for any kind of tattoo. Make type in gothic tattoo, then see what comes up.
Also open a word document (or something similar) and paste in pics of what you like.
Then when you start to hone into what you want, go to the tattooist with your ‘mood board’ and see what they say.
Can’t think of many gothic stuff myself as for some reason my mind thinks gothic and returns tribal (think my brains search engine has broken!!!)
Try tattoo parlour’s web sites too as they often have galleries of previous art, that might give you a good idea…

You could get a lacy skull, or an otherwise pretty little character who’s only "goth" feature is a bloody tear or blood dribble from the mouth. And then there’s always the traditioal gothic cross, which can be sized to fit an upper back area very nicely.
