I have found the perfect tattoo and I just would like an estimate as to how much it would be to get done at a quality tattoo parlor.

I’d change that tattoo up a bit just to make it look more customized for you. And anyone who said $50 for that tattoo has no idea what they are talking about. That tattoo is going to run you at least $350 to $450 especially if you are getting it in the same location. Tattoo artists charge anywhere between $50 to $150 an hour and there is no way that tattoo can be done in less than 2 hours.

I know many tattoo cost now a days by the hour $120. I live in Alaska so it higher than where you live! You might have to call the places and see how they charge you, by the tattoo or by the hour. The charge hourly has changed over the years.

Gosh…at the place I go it would be a few hundred…Probably like 400-500. Worth it though–it’s gorgeous!!!
Make sure you find a good, reputable place. Then just go in and get a quote. Most artists can look at the pic and tell you how much it will be. It’s free to have a consultation and a quote.

Yes that is gorgeous, and I have seen it before. I would advise you not to copy someone else’s body art, but instead be inspired by it. Let your artist see this (and many will refuse to copy because it is stealing), and you should take in pictures of flowers that you like, that maybe similar. Than let your artist, draw your personal unique design/image that is done in a similar manner to this, but is yours and not someone else’s. You will own it, and you would not want others to copy it. Understand?

You could head toward Art Nouveau and Art Deco style I think:

It is o.k. to copy an established art work that the copywrite is not currently held by anyone, but it is not o.k. to copy other’s body art that is unique and personal and that they worked long & hard to get.
If you can find that that piece is actually from an established work of art, then go ahead if you want. But you might feel so much better if yours was your own.
luck in your decision~

It’ll be cheaper in black and white, but it’s still quite big so I’d estimate about £200 / £250. But parlors vary massively. Just take a picture of it into the tattoo parlor and they’ll happily give you a quote.
Gorgeous tattoo by the way!

I have several tattoos myself and as an age old saying reminds us, “A cheap tattoo ain’t good, and a good tattoo ain’t cheap! , indeed, tattoos are expensive. They are like investing in a work of art. Getting your tattoo should absolutely not be the place nor time to be cheap since, it will be on you perpetually. That said, a good artist and parlor could charge anywhere from 200-400$ for both the outlining and the shading of the image you posted in the URL. Because the tattoo supply has increased dramatically with a surge in the amount of artists, the demand has also increased, thus, the price escalates.Color itself is not more expensive. Where it is on the body may differ in price at the discretion of the tattoo artist. Shoulders are easy to tattoo, while the lower back is much more difficult. Most people will tell you that color is much more expensive. This is a myth. it is true however in the long run for instance, color tattoo’s require shading "touch ups" and need to be refilled from appearing "fuzzy" and dull over time which as well, costs a good amount of money. While "color" costs about the same as a black and white tattoo, over the long term to keep it looking prime it will end up costing you more. No tattoo price is set in stone, unless the artist works exactly by the hour only which, I have never met one who does but i hear they are out there. At a licenced, talented and sterile tattoo parlor (in America) you can expect a basic price of $100-150 an hour.
The fine print, which is never mentioned off-the-bat is that the after care products are never included which an rage from reasonable prices (such as those from the company Tattoo Goo) to moderatly expensice (such as aftercare products from H2Ocean).
Choose Wisely & Good Luck

That tat is going to cost you hundreds of dollars (US) if you go to reputable shop. I have a medium-size dream catcher, with some color, on the back of my neck and it cost me $120. I’d take that picture around to some of your local tattoo parlors and get some estimates.
