All About Nautical Star Tattoos
December 4th, 2009
ok im going to get a nautical star tattoo with wings, its going to represent my goal of becoming a famous guitarist in the future and my ambition/goal of going into the air force. im 16 and i already made up my mind of going to the airforce, so i wanted to know what girls think about this tattoo but also guys?
The whole star+wings idea sounds nice, but why a nautical star? Nauticalness and the airforce don’t really mix, they’re kinda different branches. I assume the star is to represent your "famous guitarist" goal? The whole star=famous thing makes sense, but the only thing I think about when I see a nautical star is the ocean. And nautical stars are so common. Perhaps you should ask the tattoo artist to design a slightly more original looking star. Just a suggestion.

I think it is a cool design. I don’t know why a girl wouldn’t like it - unless they are turned off by tattoos or something. At least you aren’t getting something offensive - like something that would be considered feminist or something.

Tattoos are hot in general, However Nautical stars are becoming a bit overplayed, My boyfriend is a tattoo artist and He does at least 4 a week, Why not get a guitar tattoo? Just an idea, You can do what you want but if you’re going for original a Nautical star is too popular,

I think that you should wait until you actually go into the air force and like it.
Also, please, please, PLEASE pick something more creative. Everybody has a nautical star, sailor, pilot or not!

I like tattoos. I have a 4.5 in nautical on my ribs. To me it means, like sailors using the stars to navigate home. Life to me is a journey home and even though the water isn’t always smooth, there are alot of storms, I will always end up back in the arms of those I love and that love me.
As long as you have a reason for wanting it and you are adult enough to make the decision for yourself, go for it, and who is anyone to try to stop you.
