Nautical Star tattoos…?

How small can a nautical star tattoo be?>>
I wanna get a couple red and black nautical stars tattooed right in the front of my shoulders, sort of under my collar bone.
What do you guys think???
I know they’re a symbol for guidance and protection and I think they’d be a great symbol to have on me.
I personally like the nautical stars. I have one on my back shoulder blade that is a 4 pointed star with a "glow" around it. I had a lot of problems with this particular tattoo, though. The artist that did the original star went too deep in the skin, and I eventually had to go to another artist to fix the mistake. Anyway, the glow was not in the original plan, but it worked out ok.

you’re the one that will be living with them for the rest of your life…if you want them, get them. personally i use something else entirely for guidance and protection…but whatever works for you !

yea, i love all that old sailor jerry stuff. check out http://www.sailorjerry.com for other old school sailor tats. i have a big naut star on my shoulder with a broken black heart underneath. my fave of his are his swallow birds. i have one on my right inner arm.
