nautical star tattoos…..?

<< What does a upside down nautical star mean(tattoo)?

How much do you think a very small, red and black, nautical star tattoo would cost?>>

any tattoo ideas that would look totally awesome that include one
im getting it to represent me finding my way and that after everthing ive been through wich was alot i found my way and no matter what happened to me and what will happen in the future i can always find my way

I agree that they have become way to trendy and overdone.. but they are still a traditional tattoo that have a LONG history… not tied to the sea so much anymore but they’ve got so many other historical ties too.
I don’t know what ideas to give you. I’ve got three red/black (and the colors I chose while typical have a much broader historical meaning) nautical stars that span the length of my forearm accompanied by four hollow stars with borders. A banner runs under the cutouts and over parts of the nautical stars and has the names of my family on them (five different names). And a bunch of biker dust to top it off. I love it.

Whatever you do to add to the nautical star(s)… make sure its original drawn and not flash. And PLEASE tell me you’re not doing this because of Tila Tequila!! cause that would suck.

Nautical stars are symbols that mean to protect or guide . It may also represent your ambition or goals in life or the desire to succeed in your endeavors. You can pair it with something that would complement that meaning.

You can check out http://www.designsoftattoos.com/ for tattoo designs and ideas.
