Do tattoos on your belly right above the hip hurt?

I want to get my zodiac sign (taurus) with wings coming from it on my belly right above my hip bone/bikini line. I have my nose and my belly button done, both of which didn’t hurt at all. I was wondering how bad the tattoo would hurt?
Well if your piercings didn’t hurt then i would say that the tattoo wont hurt that bad but i mean its going to hurt i have 8 tattoos one in the place youre talking about and some i didn’t feel and some i did so it all depends, its definitely not going to hurt as bad as you think the build up of getting the tattoo will be worse than the pain.

However, I will warn you that the pain is entirely different from a piercing… I think it feels like when you have a really, really bad sunburn and someone slaps you on it. That kind of burning, stinging pain.
If you want, you can ask the artist to do a line with just water before he starts the actual tattoo. That will give you a good idea of whether or not you can handle it.

i have 8 letters across my belly spelling dead game. the worst tattoo pain ive ever been through with me laying down 4 letters first two and last two were on my ribs and the stomach part hurt worse. i do not reccomend a tat for any one on the belly, unless you think you can handle it. its like being stung by 10 hornets at one time.

It is almost impossible for me to even begin to explain the pain you may or may not be in when getting a tattoo in any place on the body.
Various customers i have worked with, have mixed reactions, because everyone has a different level of pain tolerance.
The only suggestion i can make, is if you have finalised the design, and you are happy with the way it looks, then plough on with the tattoo.
Anyone who is scared of the pain which a tattoo inflicts, is in the wrong game.
